Eileen Johnson Lieberz (1951-2020)

Eileen, 68, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side. Her life ended too soon after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska, lived in St. Paul, Minnesota during her youth and moved to Oklahoma City with her family where she graduated from Putnam City High School in 1969. She obtained her degree in nursing and worked throughout her life at Deaconness Hospital (1981 – 2012) and St. Anthony Hospital (2012 – 2020) in Oklahoma City. 

Eileen’s passions were her farm, gardens and animals. She was a hard worker dedicated to nursing and her hobbies. She developed many dear friendships with those who shared her interests. She loved her work and cherished her colleagues, many of whom were also her dearest friends. 

See was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Lois Johnson. She is survived by her only son, Aaron Lieberz and wife Dalerie; grandchildren Luke and Emma Lieberz; brothers Steve and wife Annie, Dan, Phil and wife Penny; and many loving nieces, nephews, friends, and her devoted partner Kirk Niemeyer.
