OLOF NILSON

Olof Nilson, for many years a resident of this city, passed away at the Sallman Hospital Monday evening at 8:30, following a protracted illness, bright disease being the cause of his death.

Mr. Nilson was born at St. Oluf Sogon, Sweden, and when he passed away, he had reached the age of 70 years, 9 months and 6 days. He came to this county a great many years ago and lived on a farm northwest of this city for a number of years. About a quarter of a century ago he retired from the farm and moved to this city, where he has since quietly lived in ease and comfort.

He was of a very quiet disposition. He had many friends in the city. Mr. Nilson never married. He leaves a brother, John Nilson, residing in this city, and a brother and sister residing in Colorado. Another sister, Mrs. Andrew Anderson, passed away in this city a short time ago.

The funeral arrangements had not been completed when this article was written. The same may be held Wednesday afternoon.
